Our Super Star

Miles is not shy of the camera.

Miles in his new sunglasses.

Carrying Miles - Ghana Style

Miles loves being carried on the back. This is another way to put him to sleep.

Cereal, Fruits, Vegetables...Diet Coke?

Miles always wants to drink what ever we are drinking. Here he is trying to get a taste of Uncle Lee's Diet Coke!

Wii

While we were visiting, Mason bought a Wii. It's so much fun to play. Here's Lonni's mom bowling!

Tasha's big day

Shhh! Tasha's sleeping. Here she is in her beautiful blessing dress made from the train of her mom's wedding dress.

This was so cute, I had to get a picture. While James was carrying Miles into the Aboagye's house, Miles held onto this little sweetie's finger. Her dad, Chris, served with James in the Ghana, Accra mission.

Here's President Boudhaine looking like a proud father! James, President and Stephen.

Lonni, Miles, Sister Bodhaine & Sister Linnell

James, Tasha, Miles & Karen.

July 1st we went to Tasha Aboayge's Baby blessing. Karen and Stephen are the proud parents. We couldn't get over how small Tasha is. Was Miles really that little? We've already forgotten.

Miles & Ama

Ama is the beautiful baby girl of our friends Kojo and Hillary. Just look at these little darlings!

Miles, Cameron and Emily

Cameron and Miles. Miles had fun playing with the twins toys.

Emily is about 3 years old. She's so funny! She loves attention and had watching her do her latest tricks, hopping on one foot and another one that I don't know how to describe! She's Ty and Cara's 3rd born making her big sister to the twins.
We had a fun get together with Ty, Cara and John and Nathalie. Unfortunately I did not get a group picture and definately regret it!

Miles and Cassidy

Here's Miles next to Cassidy during our June visit. They're sitting in these cool chairs called Bumbo's.

Wow! Look at her gorgeous eyes!! And her chubby cheeks, she is so precious!

Cara with Cassidy

The Mortons

Lonni's childhood friend Cara had twins about 6 weeks before Miles was born. Here's a photo of us in November '06. Cara is holding Cassidy who weighed just over 4lbs, and I was still pregnant with Miles who was estimeated by ultrasound to weigh the same as Cassidy. (Pretty exciting for me, a pregnant woman to hold a baby weighing the same as the one inside!)

The Adamsons

The Adamsons were a missionary couple from South Ogden that served with James in the Accra, Ghana mission.

Suzanne & Maggie

Lonni was so happy to get to see Suzanne and Maggie! She became friends with them during their days at the WSU 3rd ward. It was so fun to catch up with eachothers busy lives at Suzanne's new apartment in South Ogden. left to right: Maggie, Suzanne

& Miles.

Beautiful Eden

Anyone want to buy some land? It's a mere $369k for this property nearby.

Lonni was raised in Eden, Utah. This is where her brother Lee (who they stayed with) has a gorgeous home with an amazing view. One morning Lonni and Miles went for a walk just as the sun started to rise. Here is a picture of the house and the early morning view.

The deer was just one of many back yard visitors . While she was there Lonni saw a fox, a few more deer, and loads of squirrels.

Miles and the Girls

My mom and her sisters were also visiting the Lindsay's when we went. Here we are (left to right) Aunt Trilba, Grandma (Lonni's Mom Deanna), Miles, Lonni, Aunt Buelah and Melanie. Lucky for me, Melanie joined me for the day of visits. First we went to see my neice Shawnee give a talk in her ward, made it to Relief Society in my old ward in Syracuse and got to visit with some friends there, and then stopped at the Lindsays for some fun with everyone there until it was time to go to Melanie's other grandma's house for dinner with their family. Days like these made me really sad to live so far away.

At the Lindsay's

We got to visit my mom's brother, Uncle Dave and Aunt Marcia Lindsay just after Uncle Dave was released from the Hospital. He'll be 80 years old this November. Miles was fascinated with Uncle Dave. He just kept staring at him. He must have an eye for special people.

Mason wins!

Miles has long hair, but Mason is 12 years older and taller (no doubt his steady diet of oreos and milk has contributed to his stature)! I love Miles' outfit, look at his feet. It may be hard to tell but his feet have little doggie faces and ears.

Miles wins!

If this was a longest hair contest, Miles would be the winner. His curls so adorable. A friend called his hair style a "frohawk" a combination of an afro and mohawk. Some day the hair on his sides will grow back!

Miles with the Miles'

I love this picture. It just makes me go oooooh CUTE!!!! (A phrase my English pals would laugh at!) If you don't know already, Miles is Lonni's maiden name. Here he is with his cousins: (left to right) Mason, Morgan and Melanie Miles.

Fun with Mason & Morgan

We had so much fun staying with my brother Lee and his family! Miles always had a cousin to play with and that gave me plenty of free time for my favorite hobby: knitting!

Bath Time in Grandma's Kitchen Sink

Who can resist a naked baby? And what better place to bathe than grandma's kitchen sink? Here Lynne was helping Lonni with Miles' bath.

Adoring Relatives

June 21st Miles and Lonni flew to Utah for a short visit. It was so much fun spending time with family! Miles got lots of attention from his adoring cousins. Top: we have Lynne holding Miles with Shawnee and Jake gawking at the sweet baby. Next, Morgan and Miles posing, Chelsea holding Miles, oops his eyes are closed: Here's another picture, this one with Lori, Mitzi, Miles & Chelsea just before Miles gets a bath at Grandma's.
