Presidents day at the Park

We had a great time at the park with our friends the Fielden's. Miles loved the swing, the slides and having Nicholas play with him. Missy tried to get a good picture of Miles while Chloe (not a Fielden, but certainaly a friend) tried to make him laugh. A fun surprise was when Bishop Creel and his family showed up at the park too. Both families are in the ward we just moved from, so it was very fun to see them again.

Aquarium of the Pacific

We spent a nice Saturday in Long Beach. Had lunch, enjoyed the beautiful peer and the Aquarium. Miles responded very well and seemed to enjoy everything.

Fun with dish bubbles and climbing

To keep Miles happy while I wash the dishes I give him bubbles to play with. I think he makes a cute Santa. These are a few of the places I find Miles getting into. The kitchen cupboards, and under the sideboard table, next to the power outlet. Yikes!

Beverly Hills with Dzigbordi

We had another fun day together, this time at Target and a drive through Beverly Hills.

The one year old who reads and drives.

Miles is looking very studious as he pretends to read in the car.

Here he is driving his own car at the mall.

The Getty Center

Miles and I took Dzigbordi, Brianna and Jada out for some fun at the Getty Center. It's a beautiful museum located in the hills of Los Angeles. The view from the center is spectacular, you can see the ocean as well as all of LA and beyond.
Brianna is a hoot! I think she is a future fasion model (she agrees but tells me she also wants to be a cowgirl). She loves to pose, and comes up with some pretty creative ways to do so. She took the picture of Miles making the funny face. He really had a great time.

Funny story: When Dzigbordi put Miles on her back a security guard came to us and said it wasn't safe for her to carry the baby behind her; she had to have him in front and kindly asked her to do so. Dzigbordi and I laughed and laughed because this is how she and all the other women in Ghana carry their babies. The other funny thing was that the security guard was African-American. I told her that this is how they do it in Africa and she was surprized like I was the first time I saw it done. Dzigbordi did comply with the request and took Miles off her back.

Miles and his friends

After the blessing we had fun at the Larnyoh's house. Here is Miles playing with Brianna, Ben Jr and beautiful Lily.

Jada Larnyoh's Blessing Day

Exactly one year from the date of Miles' blessing, Joseph and Blossom Larnyoh were honored to bless their new daughter Jada. We had so much fun. Here's Blosom, Joe, Jada and Brianna. James with Larnyoh's, Benjamin and Emelia Andoh-Kesson and Blossom's sister Dzigbordi Boateng who came from Ghana to help Blossom for a few months. The pictures are taken at their ward in Los Angeles. It is a beautiful historic ward building that was dedicated by Heber J. Grant. Pretty cool!

Doesn't Miles look handsome in his jacket?

Helping Unpack

Miles loved helping daddy unpack from his trip to Ghana. Here he is inside the suitcase. Climbing into, over and on top of things is Miles' new hobby.
