Julia talks too.

Here's a recent shot of Julia talking, like the earlier post of Lincoln.

Size Comparison

Look at Lincoln and Miles in Julia's car seat.

Marcia and Dave

My aunt and uncle are so sweet. We stopped by for a visit and here's aunt Marcia getting Julia to smile. Miles is playing with a gift their neighbor made them, a tin man. It was really cool and I was always worried he'd break it!! There' Mom holding Lincoln. I wish I had gotten a picture of uncle Dave. Anyway it was nice to see them and let them enjoy the babies. Miles wasn't so enjoyable. He was naughty and wanted to do everything I told him not to do. Alas, our visit was short!

Lincoln is talking!!

Ok, not saying real words but he's suddenly found his voice (Julia did a while back, I have a feeling she'll be talking all the time!) and it's so fun to hear him squaking and cooing and he even does it in his sleep! I'm so glad they're not sharing my room!!

Happy Birthday James

We had fun celebrating James' 35th! Miles was a great help getting the candle blown out! After this one was blown out, Miles had to go get more candles which we lit and blew out after singing Happy Birthday to Miles!! He loved pretending it was his birthday. Wow 35 and with 3 kids! not bad!

Suzanne!!

We found our apartment thanks to Suzanne. My good friend from WSU singles ward days! She lives right next door and seems to drop in just when I need an extra set of hands and she is so great with Miles. She takes him to play in the swings and out for walks in his stroller. We have so much fun talking and going walking together. Miles is in love with her! He always wants to go see Suzanne and the other day when we pulled up in the car he said "I NEED SUZANNE!" So I called her and sure enough, she came right over to visit and we were all so happy!

Miles leaves his toys in the funniest places. Here's Dinaco on the stove. Good thing it's not on!

Moving in

A little out of order... this is the moving truck with James' Pathfinder coming out. So crazy to think our truck had his car, our belongings and another family's car and belongings! That's why they're professionals.

Lucky Visit

Miles hugging Haywee. AFTER he hit her in the head with a diecast car and made her cry... Is he ever going to understand that's not the way we treat our guests?! Poor Haylee. Miles really does love her and asks about her often since her stay with us when the twins were born.
Lance was making Julia laugh.

Nicki feeding Lincoln, Miles and Haylee... kind of a candid shot.

Oh!! Lance, Julia and Haden.

Thanks to some mountain range being closed to 4 wheeling, My brother Lance and his family had to do something with their time and decided to stop by my place to say goodbye before Lance headed back to Eugene. We'd been in our apartment for a week and they were in town visiting. I really miss them and am in shock everytime we get to see them because the kids grow so fast!! I can't believe how tall they all are. They're so wonderful! I can only hope to be as good a mom as Nicki.

Tanner

My nephew asked James to ordain him one of the first Sundays we were here. It was a complete honor for James and really sweet to witness. I'm proud of Tanner and James living their lives to be worthy of the Priesthood.

I propped the babies up in their crib for pictures and Miles wanted to get in on the action. So there's one of him with the twins in the background. Darling.

Disneyland

We're quite a sight. 2 strollers and 3 kids! We had lots of people stop us and show us their twins or just stop us so they can look at the babies.
Miles was so excited that our hand stamps said BUZZ!

This was our last chance for Disneyland before leaving CA. James humored me and took us all (it was the twin's first time!) even though I'm sure he had a millon things he'd rather be doing and spending money on. It was a black out date on our tickets so we had to pay extra to park and get in the door! Thanks babe.

First babysitters!

Here's Julia with her first babysitter, Talia!
And Lincoln with his first babysitter Stacy! I'm sure both kids were sad to leave as they got held longer than I can. My twins are so deprived.

Thomas Town

The person in the Sir Topham Hatt suit was a little strange and tried to do something to my hair and just kept touching me. Meanwhile Miles would not look at the camera and was afraid of the guy!

A week before we moved to Utah I decided I had to take Miles to Thomas Town at 6 Flags Magic Mountain because he loves Thomas and it was our last chance to go. I farmed out the twins to Stacy and Talia so Miles and I could enjoy some time together. With only two rides, it was a lot smaller than I thought! Miles HATED the Percy ride and would not ride Thomas. He was so happy with the trainset in the gift shop and that is where we spent our time!! WAAA for me. Now James and I get to listen to Miles beg us to take him to Thomas town almost daily. It's been nearly 2 months and today he threw a fit and went to time out because of it. James warned me this is what we'd get for taking him but I had to do it anyway! Oh life!!
Some day soon I have to take Miles to Thomas Land. It's in England! I guess I'd better wait for Lincoln to fall in love with Thomas and take them both.

Miles and his bed "too small for Miles!"

Miles tries so many tricks to get us to let him sleep in our bed. The latest he says is "His bed is too small for Miles". Here he is beeing so funny. One day for his nap he had to have all of these toys in his bed so he could sleep (and his shirt got dirty when I tried to put a new one on, he didn't want it so that's why he's half naked!). The last is how I found him another day in the middle of his nap with Mickey!
