at the beach

Ooh. So cute. Daddy and Miles watching the waves
Not so cute, big mommy and Miles!

This was a really fun day. We spent a few hours at a really posh shopping place with a view of the ocean, carousel (Miles got to ride that twice), the best pet store where we got to pet bunnies and see beautiful cats and dogs, the stores were amazing and people brought their dogs. It's a ritzy place so we saw some exotic dogs, one was a huge poodle highly groomed. He must have been 4 feet tall. Miles got to pet him.
We enjoyed the beach for an hour or so and then headed to our hotel and swam. The water was warm but it was only about 65 degrees outside.

Lonni's Young Women tid bits

I'm just picking up on the vinyl lettering craze. We made these as an activity and display the theme and the value of the month each week in our YW room. I'm so proud of the way they turned out. I think the girls are proud they had a part too.

Here are a couple of my presidency friends and the young women that could make it to the temple the day we were assigned to do baptisms. That was my first experience being an escort for baptisms and it was so amazing. The girls impressed me with their reverence and I was also happy we were assigned to work with the youth from my former ward, Palmdale 4th. I know and love their youth and leaders and so that made the experience even more special.
*I was called to be the YW president in my ward last October. It was a scary thing to be asked to be responsible for the girls but my testimony of personal revelation has been strengthened so much because I was inspired to call the most amazing women to work with me. We compliment each other with our strengths and have so much fun.

Ultrasound Update

Baby Girl
Baby Boy

I saw the specialist on Monday. He does high tech ultrasounds to make sure everything is good with the babies. We came away with these great 3D's of the babies faces. The 3D's can be a little freaky because at certain angles you can't see their fingers. I'm pretty sure those are his feet to the left of her face. There is just a thin membrane between them, I'm sure they get kicked in the head all the time. They are keeping me entertained with all their movements. He is a lot more active than she is. We're so excited for them to come!
